Michael MacDonald named Vice President, Account Management – Industrial & Marine, Crosbie

ST. JOHN’S, NL (June 24, 2022) – Crosbie is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael MacDonald as Vice President, Account Management – Industrial & Marine, Crosbie, effective June 20, 2022.
Michael has over 35 years of experience in progressively senior roles, largely garnered from the construction and marine sectors. Michael has been Director, Business Development, at MacKinnon & Olding, a Crosbie Member Company, since 2014. During this time, he has led and coordinated various marketing and strategic initiatives to enhance business development. He has been instrumental in building the relationships and processes that have underpinned MacKinnon & Olding’s growth in the marine construction industry and will continue to lead organic business growth for this sector. In his expanded role as Vice-President, Account Management – Industrial & Marine, he will bring his knowledge and leadership to Crosbie’s Industrial Services business. Prior to joining MacKinnon & Olding, Michael held senior roles with Performance Contracting Group, Guilford’s Limited, and Pro Insul Limited focused on strategic planning, new business development, sales, marketing, and account management.

Michael is a Gold-Seal Certified Project Manager and has formal training and education in Project Management through Saint Mary’s University and Construction Estimating through Nova Scotia’s Institute of Technology. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency, the Trade Advisory Committee, NSAA, and the Nova Scotia Construction Labor Relations Association. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council.
